Hullo all

I was raking around my iTunes last night and put together this little mix of what would, at one point, have been rarities.

I need a title and welcome suggestions for running order and artwork...

And here I thought you would've graced us with some cosmic explanation of how the shape of his pillows manifest the hieroglyph for the ancient Egyptian god Amun Re, and that because his eyes (aka, I's) were directed toward the photographer, he was supernaturally expressing his wish to be your hot, steamy, jungle-sex bedfellow.

Hi,
Is your "Walk Tall" the 1997 version? and is "Kit" with Moz vocals and not the Boz live version?

I remember an old interview with Spencer saying that the version of It's Hard... on Quarry was totally different than what they had "worked on" in 97, but I thought that was an inside joke (being that the song seems to be about a drummer, as it mentions "Ringo" etc.). Didn't realize there was an actual recording - must have missed that thread on the boards!
Would love to hear it if someone can post a link.
Also will re-ask whether it's Moz or Boz singing Kit.

I didn't realise quite how rare my version of "Kit" was.

I'm not really comfortable with the idea of uploading it as it would be a betrayal of the person I sourced it from and I don't really want to do that.

I am totally fine with the torrents of abuse that will follow this...and with the fact that my veracity will be questioned.

However, in a bid to show that I am not talking bollocks I will give you the lyrics as I have them which backs up the claim from Box that the version that was recorded was longer than the one he sings live.

Interesting. If you want to avoid abuse then upload a 5-10 second sample of Kit with Morrissey's vocals so we at least know it exists. You might still get some abuse but far less.
Was It's Hard sourced from the same person?

Oh, and calling Stephane to weigh in.

@kingleer: good idea!

There are some people out there (including me) who think, that Maladjusted is one of his best records. So, the fact that there are some unfinished demos and alternative versions out there in the possesion of a few persons is really hard to bear. Your first concern was to make up an outtake collection, right? If you have ever been to morrissey-solo before u ought to know, that Morrisseys „Kit“ version is something like the holy grail for the fans as is „I know who i love“ another aborted track from those sessions. So, if you won’t (or can’t share), say at least something about it musically. „Lush string arrangements…segemented suite“ or what?

I really didn't know that this was such a "big deal"

Two things worry me...

1) Betraying the source of the recording

2) The legal issues around uploading the track

Taking „Safe, warm lancashire home“ & „Treat me like a human being“ as mp3s was legally ok. Wasn’t it?
Come on, a little teaser for the crowd. It would really make our day brighter. :)
