Man, it sucks to have to come to work on Christmas Eve! Though, I didn't do much today, still it sucks. Oh well, I shouldn't complain because I get every single holiday that lands on a weekday off and get paid for it

So, I get to enjoy another of my 'famous' mini vacations. I don't have to worry about work until January 3rd, yay! Are you doing anything special for New Years? I still don't know what I'm going to do, but most likely be going to a friend's brother's cabin in the mountains. Hopefully, my friend is able to borrow it for the weekend; it should be really nice if it happens.

Enjoy the holidays and don't complain too much about everything and everyone, OK.

Reminds me of why I got out of my last job.

I went to bed early (1 AM) and woke up bright and early at around 10 AM. I got out of bed at 12 and started shopping early in the day (1:30 PM)

I actually saw midday sunlight for more than 30 minutes and was happy.

That's lovely.

It kind of reminds me of that show Millenium where Frank Black took his wife and child to a cabin in the woods to escape the plague and his wife wasn't vaccinated and ended up sneaking out while they were asleep and dying quietly in the woods.
