The Wedding Present-related group sharing old live versions today.

This group recreates the songs with originality. I think they're exceptional covers.

For anyone interested, Marr played Newcastle last night.

May's Mojo has some Bowie/Ronson material.
Morrissey mentions in light of Suzi Ronson's new book.

I'll be picking this book up when released - will add any further references.

Just to follow up, there are no Morrissey references in her book.

I can't see it as a clip. Strange documentary. His sexuality was no-one's business yet girlfriend was "hiding in plain site".
It isn't a clip. It's a cap of said.
It's an IG story so vanishes after a while and I couldn't be bothered to upload it myself.

Music that inspired The Smiths: Morrissey’s 13 favourite songs of all time

Same article as 2023, 2019 and FB Official source 2010.

Managed to add for good measure:

"However, Morrissey’s transition from an anti-establishment, self-deprecating figure who actively avoided all clichéd stereotypes of rock music to a controversial celebrity aligned with far-right politics and a certain vision of English national identity has been one that has ruffled more than a few feathers."

Another Warners/The Smiths' short:

"An early video of the cover of the Smiths Track - The Queen is Dead"

(Bigmouth...)

"Filmed sometime in the early nineties"

I had this record by The Ukrainians I think it was a 4 track EP. John Peel played their Bigmouth a few times

On the new Libertines album (which is great) there’s a track called Be Young which includes a vocal part that sounds like Morrissey on All The Young People Must Fall In Love. To my ears anyway.
