The Mozfather on the front page of CNN

There are those who are tired of Morrissey's bashing of the Royals and other established institutions, but I for one applaud his years of refusal.
Here's our kid on the front page of CNN!

Re: The Mozfather on the front page of CNN

Last Friday I spied a young man at the London 2012 Olympic Park sporting a 'Hatful of Hollow" T-shirt. Unexpected to say the least. I don't recall seeing any other band T-shirts. Well done sir!

Saw this on the latest email from one of the companies I purchase photos from:
Flor carpet tiles and a vintage purple armchair from Fab.com furnish the home of Bradford Shellhammer, in Sparrowbush, N.Y., Aug. 8, 2012. The four-bedroom getaway looks like a real-life representation of the Shellhammer's company website, Fab.com. (Trevor Tondro/The New York Times)

Fab.com founder Bradford Shellhammer decorates with Moz: http://www.nytimes.com/slideshow/20...OCATION.html?ref=greathomesanddestinations#13.

He's also got a bunch of those cool Swiss-modern music poster remakes (the Gay trifecta of Erasure, DM, Pet Shop Boys): http://www.nytimes.com/slideshow/20...OCATION.html?ref=greathomesanddestinations#18

I'm currently reading Doom Patrol, a six-volume series of graphic novels, published by DC Comics. It's a surrealist take on the superhero genre from the late 1980s/early 1990s, written by Grant Morrison, who has penned some of the best runs ever on Batman and X-Men, among others. So far, Doom Patrol has been littered with Smiths and Morrissey references, from a Morrissey poster on a character's bedroom wall, to direct quotes from Smiths' lyrics. Great stuff! :D

This isn't a strange or terribly unexpected Moz reference at all, but I found this photo I took while in Tijuana, Mexico back in May.

It was nice to see this while waiting in the long queue to get back into the USA.
