Do you think it's the real deal? In that case, it's a bit dissapointing it doesn't have a photo of Morrissey.

I have to imagine that they would use the same type as the ad campaign. So no I can't really imagine that this would be it.

Not always, plus I don't think Morrissey likes the way he looks these days as he has aged so badly. The last product with an up to date photograph on it was Years of Refusal. He prefers ten year old photographs, and, let's be fair, don't we all.

This is either a mock up of one of many design options leaked or it's a piece of mocked up fan art.

Either way I don't mind it. I quite like it.

Isn't it possible that this is a "version" of the final cover? One that's been mocked up with his nephew as a stand in for an unavailabe Moz but who is following his direction?

It's very Morrissey-esque, I'll say that but it's also very similar to YoR, which overall makes me think it's a fake or concept only.

Two theories:

It could be that Morrissey is engaging his paternalistic side again. Pictured on the YOR album with his 'son' perhaps he's saying look he's grown up now, here's my grown up 'son'. The Nephew is wearing clothes that Morrissey would choose and striking a pose that morrissey would with a Moz haircut.

My money however is on this not being the cover just a mock up of the real cover.

It's a little in joke. The nephew was in the studio for the shoot as he knows the photographer and tried out the same pose as Moz in the same clothes, the clothes do look too big for him.

Music pundit Lee Thompson followed up his tweet from last week stating there would be 3 singles (one a week) by giving new dates of release for said singles and order they will be released.
Make of it what you will...
