In high school I stopped wearing Morrissey tshirts because I was tired of being teased. I then kept him a secret. I owned a horse and at the stable I kept him was a very cliquey group of cowgirls I didn't associate with because i rode my horse alone on trail while they barrel raced and did organized activities. I would wear this shirt always as my trail shirt to keep my other clothes clean (except the ink was silver):
And they all started calling me "Rank." My horse's name was Boogie, "Here comes Rank and Boogie." I'd laugh along but I think hated it deep down.

Do you have any friends or family members who goof on you for being a Moz fan?
I get it ALL THE TIME. I always respond laughingly, but mostly find it pretty annoying.
However, they're not always malicious... This morning, my friend posted a "Smiths" t-shirt they found online. I responded with a "Morrissey" shirt I made.
See below.

Dude, is this you? my oh my you are so fine.
Hmmm....I wonder if he would like to go to Las Vegas with us?
I went to a predominantly Mexican high school and they hadn't caught on to Morrissey yet. I peeked at my yearbook to post some of the MORRISSEY SUCKS things the boys wrote and found this sweet one instead, the only girl who ever kinda got it. She was a Vietnamese girl named Hong, smart as f***, but she liked Morrissey and we'd talk about him all the time.

Was this in LA? All Mexicans like Morrissey in LA and if they don't care for him, they never talk shit about him. Heck, when I wear my Morrissey shirts in LA, nobody f***s with me because they think I am in a Mexican street gang.
