Well the shop is literally above me where I'm sitting right now. Maybe I should go up at lunchtime and say how close I am, and demand a place?

Well, I just emailed them and mentioned I lucked out on the Opera House ballot and had to obtain tickets through fans. Better to ask in advance than not at all.

There was no guest list for the book signing. Everyone queued for 30 hours.

I know Jeez, i was at the signing, i got pneumonia afterwards....

Either way the ballot system seems like a bitch to deal with.....

I'm not a fan of this ballot business at all.

I did end up getting calls from the Opera House asking if I was still interested in spare tickets they had about 2-3 weeks after I was told I was unsuccessful with the ballot for the shows, but by then I'd already made other arrangements with fans on here who had extra tickets.

I pray that this doesn't happen again anytime soon.
