He is taking the show to L.A. for three weeks. I wonder if he is bringing the couch with him.

Have we both admitted that we watch Carson Daly??? Yikes!

....only because it pops one after Conan and we can't be bothered to flip the channel, right?

I'll tune in for Keane. Thanks or the head's up. I'm gonna put Keane on right now. "She Has No Time" is my fave today.

Alright, as you and Bertie along with Seriously are now fans of these guys, it behooves me to check into this band. I may scour soulseek for the album this weekend. Do they only have one?

Yeah, I am usually typing something as I watch the late night shows. I am too lazy to change it. Of course I don't have much variety to choose from. I can't even get channel 13. I know this sounds pathetic. But until last month, I wasn't watching tv at all for almost a whole year. Pearl Jam was on Letterman months ago, and I was so upset because I could not get reception on any of the three tvs I have.

So even though Letterman is not my fave, he does get great guests. And I used to like his Stupid Pet Tricks skit. I can get my cat to talk to me. After I ask her a question, in a certain tone of voice, she meows in a really sweet, responsive manner. It doesn't matter what I ask. As soon as I finish the question she responds. I have a way with cats. I think it's because I understand how they think.

Are you still watching NBC? There is a rerun of Leno with Jane Fonda on. Her jokes about Ted Turner are hilarious.

I love "She Has No Time" as well. I love the falsetto.

I have some of their songs in mp3 format. I can send them through yousendit. They have only one album, "Hopes and Fears."

I love all the songs.

I bet you can get them all on Soulseek.

You don't know what you're missing by not having cable

I just saw Jeremy Irons' penis flapping around in the movie "Damage" on IFC! :o

I know what it's like. Through most of my childhood my father refused to get us cable. His lame excuse was, "I don't want those cable company f***ers drilling holes in MY house!" But NOW he loves cable, after a whole childhood of making me out of the loop when all my friends at school were discussing the newest MTV videos.

Pearl Jam's a pretty big guest; they'll probably rerun it soon.

About six months ago they had a talking dog on Stupid Pet Tricks! The dog said "I rrrruv you" (I love you), I shit you not!!

Nah, I was watching the movie. Now I should leave this forum alone and take it to email.

Thank you for uploading the file, I am downloading it now. I just ran Soulseek and discovered that MULTIPLE users are sharing this album. I will, more than likely, download the entire album over the weekend -- for now, or as soon as the Benzodiazepines + Atarax peak, I will be attempting sleep...wish me luck.

I think I have seen that movie. I don't remember the penis scene though. Maybe it didn't leave a BIG impression.

I wish I had that IFC channel. I LUV movies too.

I loved MTV when I was a teen.

My mom and stepfather have one of those big screen tvs with all the channels, Tivo, DVD player, VCR etc. Until last year, they had to use three remote controllers. Well, when I was down there this February, they had this huge wireless remote controller that was like a mini computer. I brought a couple of my Moz DVDs down. I put in Oye Esteban and wanted to show my mom the video for "Sing Your Life." She didn't know how to do scene selection. All that technology was not making things more simple.

Here is another funny thing. My stepfather drives a Saab Turbo that is computerized. It has Onstar and about a hundred other gadgets. I got in the car to drive to the beach and put in a CD. The whole system was so complicated it took forever for me to figure out how to play the CD. When I got back to their house, I told my Sf that I couldn't figure out how to get my CD out of the player. I asked, "Does the car need to be on, to eject it?" He said, "I don't know, I have never used the CD player." I was in shock. What a waste. All those gadgets and toys and they don't really use them or even know how they work. This is conspicuous consumption at its finest.

Awww that is sweet!

My Tabby does the same thing, only she will continue to talk, and talk, and talk...the only way to quieten her is with a hug and a series of deft head-scratches!

Yes, but what a debut album.
I take it you are a Franz Ferdinand Fan.

You'll be glad to know they are rumoured to be releasing another by the end of the year.
