The only Morrissey song you could play on Heart FM.
 
This song is the Morrissey equivalent of "How Soon Is Now?" for me. I know that it's a "classic" and that it is one of the most loved of Morrissey's songs... but it bores me. I get that little, "Oh god, not again" feeling when I hear the opening chords played live. If I never hear it again, I'll be quite happy. But, like How Soon Is Now?, it's still a great song. If I'm being honest, I'll give it an 8.
 
Definitely the best Moz song in my opinion.
It's amazing in live, the ep is exceptional and the picture sleeve is wonderful.
 
A beautiful song. The dreamy musical peice, with it's simpe yet lush six peice string accompaniment, are complimented by some of Morrissey's best lyrics in his solo career. Inspired by John Betjeman's "Slough", this is an example of Morrissey's quintessential englishness at it's finest. A wonderful song, and up there with his best. 10
 
They were tears in my eyes when I heard it live....it was Sunday....I was wearing the shirt and ohhh it was wonderful....:(:o
