I see my previous post has been added to by a known troll/moderator of this site so can I ask Mr Tseng to think about adding a toolbar that allows ordinary users to delete postings from known trolls? nothing fancy just a button or two would do the trick...

Actually on second thoughts its high times I joined the Rest of The Best People of Morrissey solo and earned myself a ban so may I ask...

In fact may I ask Mr Tseng What ToS Violations earn a permanant ban? I am never rude in an unwarranted manner nor dishonest so wouldn't want to falsely accuse someone of something, nor would I ever post a racist, sexist or otherwise ugly post... Could I just keep posting one post repeatedly all day til I was banned? Or would an image of such enormous magnitude be posted that instantly earned a lifetime ban (if so please provide a link, on a personal note William Morris is a favourite designer of mine, his patterns are simply divine and his social reformation has always been every bit as pretty as his artwork so any links to his work OUTSIZED of course would be greatly appreciated).

So what is the best way to earn a lifetime ban on moral grounds? The naughty step doesn't cut it for me you see (yes I realise thats a red rag to a moderating troll but hay-ho I have wide shoulders) .

There is a tool in existence - it's called ignore, you can choose which members posts you do not wish to read.

As for wanting to receive a permanent ban..... why not exercise a bit of self control and either do not visit this site or do visit the site, but do not post. Or are you merely seeking to attract attention to yourself

Does make moderating a bit tricky.

If you really want to get banned here are some ideas.

Sexually harass people.
Harass people in general.
Repeatedly post porn.
Make repeated racist comments.
Post lots of personal information about other users.
Have a massive flashing sig image that you refuse to remove.
Use the report post button repeatedly on posts that don't merit being reported.
Become someone who trolls everyone at every chance.. really go all out.. call people names.. do it in everything thread on the site.
Post lies about other members.
Post the same thing over and over and over and over.
Post spam.

There you go.. eleven good ways to get banned.. and the bonus one...

Send a PM to me requesting I ban you.

I don't know if the other mods or David want to be bothered with that but I want people to be happy and will do that for anyone who asks. There will be no unbannings for this. You will have to start anew if you decide to return.
