Something like this would be appropriate, given the billing, with another handful of classics swapped in and out.

Hand In Glove
First of the Gang to Die
Tomorrow
My Love Life
I Am Veronica
Interesting Drug
My Love I'd Do Anything For You
Dear God Please Help Me
The Youngest Was The Most Loved
Once I Saw the River Clean
Trouble Loves Me
Cemetery Gates
Sunny
All You Need Is Me
Istanbul
Everyday Is Like Sunday
That Joke Isn't Funny Anymore
The Night Pop Dropped
Stop Me If You Think That You've Heard This One Before
Now My Heart is Full
---------------
Panic
Suedehead
Nice set-list, and very considerate to schedule in a quick toilet break after the excitement of hearing Interesting Drug.

Istanbul blows. How about Sing Your Life instead? Or Lost? Or I am Hated For Loving? Will Never Marry! I've Changed my plea to guilty! And swap out Hand in Gloves for Well I Wonder. There's my 75 cents.

I'm fine with all of your recommendations. I was trying to fit in a song from just about every era, and figure Istanbul is best from Word Peace. Just my opinion.

Well, by and large I don't rate Low In High School very highly, but I find the opening track one of the stronger ones. And we really don't need to hear I Wish You Lonely again, do we?

Take out everyday is like Sunday, my love I’d do anything for you, and now my heart is full, (which I’ve always hated) add in something is squeezing my skull/ mama lay softly, sister I’m a poet, I am hated for loving etc.

Suedehead is always, always welcome though.
Agree with most of your choices (Sister I'm a Poet for sure - that was an oversight on my part).

For me, Now My Heart is Full is possibly the greatest Morrissey song of all time. Certainly top 5. Different strokes...

Paper it or weather it. What does this phrase mean please? A new term on the block, to me anyway.
I believe paper it means to distribute free tickets.

Weather it must mean to deal with whatever the situation may be, sales-wise. Enough high-priced tickets may have been sold to cover the promoter's costs over the four nights, though it will hardly be a cash storm unless something dramatic happens with the sales of Tues/Wed in particular.

I’d also include The end of the family line, let the right one slip in, kiss me a lot, teenage dad on his estate, let’s throw in I thought you were dead too.

Paper it means giving away cheap/free tickets sometimes using an agency - they call it papering the house.

Weather it means just accept that sales are bad, play the gigs & hope the people who are there enjoy it & tell others that it didn't deserve to be empty. It's usual to have a meeting to discuss what went wrong & what to do about it.

Thanks chaps. I guess that if a record company was on board, their people would provide more press contact services and the rest required, in a time of ever more complex and hi-tech systems. Still, the ingredients are there for some great shows. Let's hope they go ahead, and rock the free world :guitar:

Shit, imagine that. He would totally redeem himself.

Agreed, and it contains one of the most brilliant lyrics ever....Tell all my friends, I don't have too many, just some rain coated lover's puny brother!!!!

The Frank Sinatra & Dean Martin montage reminded me of Russell Brand kissing Morrissey that time in Hollywood High. I wonder if Russell will get a mention on this tour. Sometimes I find Morrissey's between-song banter to be the most interesting part of the show!

He cancelled previous shows because he feels too cold ,and too old. He has also said he also cancelled because he felt he looked odd.

I love you Moz you are great and i love your songs, and I understand art but not life, sometimes words aren't enough to summerise life and everything inside it, thats what I feel

I actually think Ticketbastard have created the issue for the NY dates with their dynamic pricing crap. On the Saturday they are still selling some tickets at $632 but for the other nights the same seats are $102. The cheaper seats for Saturday are $108 but for all the other dates they are $44.

Problem is people will have looked previously and though f*** that and may not be looking again, hence the odd message the other day - Low ticket warning for Oct 21. But good news abounds! Great seats have been made available for the remaining dates. ON SALE NOW.

No other seats have been made available and it's disgusting that they are allowed to con the public like this.
Yeah that's f***ing dirty as hell.

Yes, but that’s not important.
I always thought that VAI should have just started with Spring-Heeled Jim,
Now my heart is full is and always has been a wet fart of a song.

In my early 'V&I years', Now My Heart Is Full was really one of the top tracks on the album for me. As time went on, I still very much appreciate its beautiful sound and how it's the opening track on a wonderful album, but it does play at a slow pace (sometimes seeming to get even slower). Nowadays, I appreciate many other tracks on the album much more. However, I think it's a pretty good song.

I do appreciate your opinion here though, as it's always fun for me to read other people's opinions on V&I - which is my favorite Morrissey LP for certain.
