No, guys, I won’t write a whole list, there are already enough of them in the thread. When you look at it like that, each of his songs has something special, even if it is rarely mentioned as someone's favorite.
But I will note that Morrissey is excellent at live covers: of course, with such vocal abilities it couldn’t be otherwise. I like his performance of Rose Garden, it sounds very harmonious. Dynamic Street Life, harsh Moon Over Kentucky... Each of his covers performed live is something unimaginable, you just have to hear it. As for studio covers, here too Morrissey managed to reveal the potential of each original. I've always loved Satellite Of Love on Lou Reed's 'Transformer', but Morrissey's version blew me away: his performance of the original masterpiece took on incredible power, and now I love both versions.
