Wouldn't a live Smiths VHS have been brilliant?

I know we have Rank, and it captured the audio brilliantly, but wouldn't a professionally filmed video of a Smiths show have been amazing? Were there any plans that ultimately were shelved, and if so, how close did they come to fruition?

I still can't believe they can't find the "master" tape of those French or Spanish TV broadcasts......they gotta be out there somewhere! I say put those on DVD and sell 'em!

I bet people around camp Smiths have filmed some gigs, I mean who were
authorized to stand in front of the crows between security
