It really doesn't matter. The only people that I would really want to see open for Morrissey are either too big or don't fit what seem to be the requirements.
Therefore, anyone that opens for Morrissey is just "the band that is opening for Morrissey" and it's something to sit through and endure. If it has poor sound quality and berates the audience that is a minus.
