Very Best Of The Smiths misprint?

Apologies if this has been done before, but this Ebay item:

- is supposedly rare for having track 2 listed as 'The Boy With A Thorn In His Side' rather than the correct 'The Boy With The Thorn...'.

Is the story bob on? (Would WEA really destroy all the incorrect copies?) And if so, how many of these are out there?

Wasn't Morrissey against the release of this CD altogether? Or am I mistaking it for something else? Printing 'a' instead of 'the' seems a petty reason to object to something, even for Morrissey. I always say/sing 'a' anyway when listening to this song.
But I have always been a rebel.

yeah morrissey was against it , its not a "mega" rare disc , they come up quite a lot that will be the reason why it only had one bid and sold for the reserve price

Morrissey was not against the release of this album, but he was indeed not happy with its artwork.
