Such bloody awful poetry.....

I like that one ...And the sailors raise the anchor.
She takes your hand, and she leads you to that place
near the forest where you sit, and you can hear the squirrels chase
each other in the branches and she feeds you summer berries
and she tells you very gently that she has no love to give you.
And the rain answers for you and you sink beneath her words
And you want to be around her, and you never want to leave her
And you want her to teach you all the new things that she knows now
So you press her hair behind her ear
to whisper gently to her
And she knows that she can trust you
And she knows there is no other
and you reach her willow body with your breath.
She is soft and precious, like the autumn harvest moon
And you remind her of the time that you'd waltzed around that room
And she had shown you how to hold her and you held her round her shoulder
And when she pulls you closer it felt just like she remembered
And the sailors raise the anchor, and the sailors drop the sail
And the sailors sing their hearts out as the boat lifts from the shale.
And the sailors tell their lovers that they’re off to meet the whale
And her hair upon the pillow, when you loved her in the morning,
you had laid awake all night since she kicked you once for snoring
Many people passed us as we passed the time
You know my love goes with you just as your love stays with mine
And the sun hangs like honey and your words hang like mist
And she walks you to the corner and she offers you her fist.
Enlighten us all pleaseAnd the sailors raise the anchor.
She takes your hand, and she leads you to that place
