Steve Martin Looks Like Morrissey in Little Shop of Horrors

Stitchell

blah blah blah blah...
Just watched the still excellent "Little Shop of Horrors". When Steve Martin sings the "I Am A Dentist" song, one of the lines ends with the word 'maladjusted!', which he sings in an overwrought profile pose with a large black quiff a la Elvis/Morrissey. Watch it and tell me you dont think of Moz

Night

:eek:Shocking suggestion. But I did watch the Man with Two Brains again the other night and nearly died laughing. Not just because of the crappy sets that move but for the scene where he`s talking to his beloved brain in the rowing boat. And the names Ann Urmelmayhay(can`t spell it) and Dr Ufurhurur or what ever it is never fails to crack me up.Planes Trains and automobiles is pretty good too,the scene with the burnt out car is classic.:D

The only person I have ever thought of during this song is Lux Interior. When the movie came out, we figured that Steve Martin was a bit of a Cramps fan, because he is chanelling Lux in this performance. All I can see and hear is the Psychobilly King of American Camp.

Morrissey is a Cramps fan as well, if I remember correctly. Great minds do think alike - it's always been about the hair and the attitude.

Just my opinion, for what it's worth.

I love Little Shop of Horrors and Steve Martin in it but one thing I NEVER thought of was Morrissey while watching it LOL

I don't think who looks like morrissey, it was just the combination of The Quiff, Maladjusted and the croon!
