some crazed fan, but not the one that took the pic

Where did THIS picture come from? Actually I found it on this site, but anyway. I'd have been embarrassed to take this picture! Just goes to show you, for some people common sense goes out the window when it comes to Morrissey.

I was WONDERING where my messenger bag got off to! (Actually, I do have one that looks nearly the same. Not as expensive, I'm sure, but...)

This picture is slightly disturbing. If I did see Mozzer on the street, I sure as HELL wouldn't take a picture of him unless a)he consented and was actually looking into the camera or b)I could coerce/cajole/bribe someone into taking my picture while I sprinted past him, so we could be in the same frame together.

Really, though, think of it: how would YOU feel if people were constantly taking pictures of you when you just wanted to be left alone... The 'well he/she wanted to be famous, so what did they expect?' argument is plain BS, pure and simple. It's wrong and dehumanizing to think of someone (especially someone we all profess to care about) as being an object that exists merely for your (picture-taking) pleasure.

The fan who took this picture isn't a stalker at all. The picture was taken at the LAX airport en route to the show in Las Vegas a few weeks back. She happened to be on the same flight as the band from LAX to LV.

It's a healthy obsession (just like yours and the rest of ours), she just happened to be in the right place at the right time.

Speak for yourself! My obsession is decidedly unhealthy... :-D
Just kidding, I think... But seriously, I still wouldn't have taken the picture of him with his back to me. With all due respect, I don't think he wanted pictures taken of him -- he doesn't look absolutely thrilled that he's being photographed.

he doesn't look absolutely thrilled that
> he's being photographed.

Does he ever?

It's a tough call to make. If I found myself within a few feet of Moz and had a camera at ready I'd be tempted to snap a few pics myself. Though I'd probably be too busy acting hopelessly nonchalant to operate a camera!

I probably shouldn't bother to defend myself here, but here goes. I was actually far away, just using zoom on the camera. It's not like I was in his face or anything. As the people know who bothered to read the account posted along with picture know. He did look over a few times and if he had looked super annoyed I definitely would have stopped taking pictures. I was behind him in the check-in so I could have gotten a lot of paparazzi pictures if I wished, assuming his bouncer wouldn't have stopped me, but I laid off of him once he got in the airport and let him be in peace. I debated posting the picture, as its not the most glamorous Morrissey picture in the world, but people who had read my little tale asked to see it, and I didn't want to be the type of person to say, I saw Morrissey at the airport and have a picture, but I'm not going to show you. I've deleted the picture off of my account now, so I hope all with be right with the universe once again.

Re: Dear God, that bag is just awful.

I love the bag, and I would love to know what is in it.

Thanks for the photo. I really like it. I wish more fans would post candid photos of Morrissey.
