Is anyone meeting up in t' pub before the Glasgow/Stirling gigs. Any suggestions of where to go near venues???

No idea with Stirling, but a lot of people tend to go to the Crystal Palace pub for gigs in the Carling Academy. Dont go anywhere near the Glaswegian pub or the Laurieston though!

I work in Stirling but i've never been out there!!! doh!

Pivos is near the Albert hall which should be cool.

Those two pubs are indeed very shifty places! Crystal Palace is alright for a few cheap drinks, but I'd say the Scotia Bar just near the the river would be the best place to go, now that is a good traditional pub with an excellent atmosphere.

Scottish Dates - pre gig pub

Moz-solers and any other fanatics to meet in

Stirling: Pivo Bar - hmmmmm this sounds a bit trendy - any better bars near the venue???? What about the hoghead, nicky tams or drouty neebors on Baker Street - or is that too far from the venue??

Glasgow: Scotia Bar - stockwell street - apparently glasgows oldest pub - and it looks a nice wee place.

for a few light ales and fab company.....
