Racist vs the Homo

LEAVE MONICA ALONE.

how can you blame her for wanting to make some money from the situation? if i was her i would DEFINITELY be doing what she is. think of her massive legal fees, the TV interview in the UK/books about her et al. will help to pay for it.

if morrissey can do interviews why can't she? leave her alone.

If Moz does it, it's OK.......

It's called not biting the hand that feeds you. If she hated the attention, she should have disappeared. What I'm saying is don't complain that the press won't leave you alone and run crying to mom, and then turn around and give an interview to make money off of it. Admit it. From the beginning she knew the option was there for her to make some cash from it, and if she knew that she was going to make money from it, she should have just simply smiled at the camera. Monica was not the victim of sexual harassment. She was a consenting adult, and I think people get stupid and forget that because she was 22. Women do have brains, in case you don't know. We aren't frail things that automatically bend in fear of what a man wants. She wasn't lead astray by Clinton. She chose what she wanted, and she saw what happened to his other mistresses before, so it wasn't as if she didn't have any warning.¿ if morrissey can do interviews why can't she? leave her alone.

I'm sure Moz would love to discuss his views on it with you, so why don't you write to him at his imaginary email address and tell him.

Diana is worm food and I don't feel bad.

> Diana was a altruistic, intelligent woman.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!¿Di was a very selfless woman.

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!¿I attended most of grade¿ school while stationed in England, and maybe in that perspective¿ I can understand better how much of a loss and tragedy her death¿ was.

Yeah, you were more vulnerable to the insanity virus which infected everyone's brains in England when she died.¿But, it wasn't an issue of housewives grieving--it was an¿ incident where someone with so much valor and integrity suffered¿ such a violent death.

I'd have cried for the person she might have killed while drunk driving at 100MPH all over Paris. Better that she died than an innocent person.¿This was not just any 'celebrity', or heir¿ to the throne, but one of the most charismatic British women of¿ this century.

That's an insult to British women.¿ God rest both of their souls.

There is no God, but if there was, Diana is burning in the fiery furnace.

I can't believe the Cult of Diana is still going strong. Madness.

Someone needs to shove a sock in that nitwit Monica's mouth. I hate her. I want her to go away. The fact that she'll make millions off this shows how low our culture is these days.

SHE WASN'T THE ONE DRIVING THE CAR!!!! Look, it's obvious you don't like her, but that is so cold to wish on any human being (the exception being Hitler, of course- he was beyond disgusting).

Massive legal fees? Oh yeah, now I feel sorry for Monica Cowinsky.¿ if morrissey can do interviews why can't she? leave her alone.

'Cause Morrissey isn't capitalizing on a scandal and he's not calling himself a victim of anything. Plus, she bitches about the media except for when she gets paid by the media like "Bawbwa" Walters.

Although I know i'll be getting LOTS of flack for this, I do feel sorry for Monica, because she was so naive to think that Clinton was actually in love with her! Clinton's like the neighborhood bicycle- everybody's had a turn! Of course it was wrong of her to get involved with a married man, but I've always been a very forgiving type of person and have always respected when people admit to their mistakes. Hopefully she sincerely means it when she says she's sorry and all that jazz, and won't do anything of the sort again.
What i DO think is wrong is the fact that the media has made Monica into a full-fledged celebrity. I mean she's been invited to attend the Academy Awards, for chrissake!!! Is there something wrong with this picture? Oh, well. Hollywood's never been known for its integrety, anyway.

Re: sick, sick, sick.

> What about Farakhan?

Well, i don't think i'd be sad if he died, but i wouldn't wish him eternal hellfire and brimstone...unless he killed people without remorse.

Their integrity would've really gone down the drain if they had nominated Jim Carrey for the Truman Show. Almost as big a tragedy was giving the award for best picture to Titanic last year instead of L.A. Confidential, now that really boiled my blood.

What of Slovodan Milosovec? He ordered the ethnic cleansing of many Islamic Bosnians. I'd say, bomb that Serbian dick.

So true. She complains of the media attention then writes a tell all book and does a 3 hour interview with Barbra Walters. Pretty pitiful if you ask me.

Re: sick, sick, sick.

> SHE WASN'T THE ONE DRIVING THE CAR!!!!

She got into a car with a drunk driver, and she had him speed like a maniac. It was all part of her game with the press, which she loved. What would you have said if they had run over a little kid?¿Look, it's obvious you¿ don't like her, but that is so cold to wish on any human being¿ (the exception being Hitler, of course- he was beyond¿ disgusting).

What did I wish upon her? I didn't wish anything upon her. Not respecting her, not loving her, and not crying when she died is different than wishing death upon her.

Re: sick, sick, sick.

What about Bill Clinton, who "wagged the dog" three times (Sudan, Afghanistan, Iraq) over the past 12 months, leading to the deaths of innocent people? He blew up a medicine factory in Sudan, so now little kids are dying because they can't get any medicine. There are plenty of evil people in high places I wouldn't cry over.

P.S. If Christianity were for real (which it isn't), I don't see how any filthy rich person could get into Heaven.

Mani-cure

> Just before this starts again, I'm just telling you--this is one¿ of the more intelligent debates I've ever had here.

Intelligent? Possibly. Hilarious? Absolutely!¿ But, I am sensing you are starting to get personal.

I need to in order to compliment you and help you throw out your black nail polish and green contacts. You're worth more than those tawdry ornaments.¿ If that is the case, BackTha @#!!! Up! I'm the last man you want to¿ piss off.

Relax. Sit back, and attempt to make my sarcasm mutual. Do you understand how silly your threats are?¿ I don't argee with conforming with your life, but I¿ don't discredit you for living it either. You have done nothing¿ but be a smartass in this post, which displays your disrespect¿ for the misunderstood. That kind of garbage can be taken to¿ another site.

You. Are. Not. Misunderstood. You. Are. Not. Different. How many times must you be told this? Accentuate the positive in yourself, not this claustrophic personality-martyrdom. One of these days, you will have to grow up and face life like everybody else. YOU WILL ONE DAY HAVE A RESPONSIBILITY FAR BEYOND THE WEEKEND'S WARDROBE and you will be far less defensive of your "personality" when that time arrives.¿ That's because politics is just another form of "Less¿ Filling/Tastes Great". There are greater things in life.

Agreed.¿ I get more pleasure of out giving lunchbags to the homeless than¿ writing to one of you guys, hoping you'd solve the problem.

Misconception #1: Politicians are responsible for people's personal dilemmas. Homelessness will always and forever be. Its quite obviously sad and horrible, and liberal politicians attack a problem that no one can dispute. Take a bunch of random homeless people. Give them a steady diet of meals and a roof over their heads. Would anyone disagree that every human being deserves that minumum of comfort? No. You don't and neither do I. But how long do you prolong these people's lives when they have no will of their own to work hard and solve their own problems? Its harder to work and do something with your life than to withstand a homeless life and take advantage of the charitable portion of our society.¿ I wonder why you take so much offense to the fact that someone¿ could give two monkey craps about politics.

You refuse to learn what I've to repeat once again. Your attitude is passionate and ultra-liberal, and your opinions are not validated by any logic that needs a mental discipline to maintain. You formulate easy opinions that no one would readily dismiss or disagree with (i.e. homelessness) and refuse to go any further, to argue a specific point, to recognize and praise knowledge, whereas I clearly, thoughtfully, and as objectively as possible attempt to describe political viewpoints. You then simply attack my character by saying that I do the same, when the evidence clearly shows that I've frequently attempted to motivate and compliment you. You have as of yet only allowed the discussion to be described as intelligent, and that is seemingly as far as you are willing to lower your defenses.¿ Just like the cult Christians on campus aren't forcing me to¿ join, right? It's more like "You'll be surprised how this¿ will affect your life". I say "No thanks". And¿ you say, "Fine then, punk! You're going to hell¿ anyways!!". Your agressive nature is a clear display of the¿ formula above, and a form of imposing your ideals on me.

I dislike (cult) Christians just as much as you, trust me. I grew up in an ultra-conservative household and despise religion. I don't see how we cannot get over the guilt-factor (sin) in motivating people and begin to recognize man as being the sole bearer of the idea of morals. I don't believe in arguments about god and the afterlife. They are pedantic and useless. Prayer is a wonderful word for procrastination. Angels and demons are nothing but silly imagery and should hold no more meaning than vampires and fairies. The ten commandments are wonderful, and the responsibility of upholding the logical values found therein should rest within the true creator of them: humanity. I'd love to discuss the idea further, but based upon your reaction to the christians at your school, you display a very undisciplined, immature logic towards settling the insults you feel.
And you are right, I am very aggressive. I feel strongly about my ideals, and I am proud of the ability to back them up with clear reason and logic. I've taken philosophy classes myself, Mani, and aside from deriving the classic lessons in defining certain argumental structures and logic, I've found the classes and the teachers to be far too subjective when applying philosophical theses towards modern society.¿ Why the hell should I inject anything? This is a MESSAGE BOARD.¿ Is David Tseng correcting these for grammar? Oh, I should hit¿ the spell checker, then! Anonymity is sacridity, here in Moz¿ solo. The fact that I do not know Suzanne, Paula, Spinster,¿ Paul, Fabricio, etc.. is meant to be somewhat of convienience.¿ And, those whom use the more exotic handles [MLL, Lifeguard¿ Sleeping] are mean to be neuter. You entered this discussion¿ with judgmental ideals, giving me categories, stereotypes, and¿ labels that display are programmed mind and tainted heart.

I did not mean to "inject male pronouns" literally. I simply meant to illustrate that, although I was embarrassed by my mistake, it made absolutely no difference in the arguments I was making towards you. As far as your opinions on the prevailing logic on this message board (i.e. anonymity is sacridity, is convenience) I could care less and do not wish to discuss. If I see something that I disagree with or agree with and feel strongly about it, I post my feelings. Other than that, I waste no time worrying about 'exotic handles' and the sex of the other personalities on the message board, as evidenced by my disgraceful mistake of handing you the feminie gender.¿ Suck it. You know my opinion matching theirs was a coincidence.

I know you can do better than "suck it".¿ You see, there is a such thing as REGIONAL coverage. There is a¿ smaller agenda involved in my starting a label. MTV is quite far¿ ahead to look.

Agreed. But by no means should it be counted out. I make the assumption that you've counted it out, because you claimed already to see 'the whole picture' when it came to tv and its big scheme. Didn't you claim to negate almost all mass media in 1994 or something like that?¿ Oh, shoot! Whoever is correcting this is gonna have a field day!¿ I'm scared! I'm gonna get a "C". Shut up, jerbroney.¿ It's much like politicians to take cheap character shots than to¿ address the issues.

I thought the remark was relevant and rather amusing. At least I was attempting it to be. I did not mean to bother you so. I will claim, however, that its far funnier than "suck it".¿ Shut up. There is a story behind my liking Morrissey. It's much¿ like a politician not to incoporate LIFE EXPERIENCES into the¿ formulas of decision making.

"Shut up" works well on a message board.¿ I KNOW MARKETING STRATEGIES because Mountain Dew tries to sell¿ products to snowboarders. But, I don't buy into it because I¿ don't snowboard.

I'm not disputing that you don't know marketing strategies--I'm claiming that you'll never escape them. Unless you'd like to move to a socialist nation.¿ Of course not. Everything you've stated is a shortsighted view¿ of human beings. If this is how politics is, then I'm certainly¿ never to be convinced.

Never to be convinced about what, specifically? Of politics relevance in today's society? Of its uselessfulness? Of its absolute importance? Please be more specific. OOPS! I keep forgetting; you don't care. But you DO care about those homeless guys? You have your priorities in order, let me tell you. You have to educate yourself, live life for a while and work very hard before you can bring things and ideas to people that are really usefull.¿ Okay, hotshot... this is the sequence of my selecting shirts:¿ 1) I see a shirt, 2) I like it, 3) I buy it...

#2 is where all the questions arise. Your reasons for liking a shirt are most likely very image-conscience. I can prove it, too. You see, I readily admit that I buy my clothes to appear a specific way. I don't pretend otherwise. It saves me a lot of hassle. I usually wear whatever's popular, yet toned down somehow. Oh, yes, and I have a couple of band t-shirts. People that pretend that their method of selecting apparel is traditionally cavalier (i.e. thrift-shops, nondescript clothing) have too much to prove in saying so. That is why these people, like yourself, have so much time wasted in worrying about their appearance and care far too much about sending a message through what they wear, INSTEAD OF WHAT THEY DO or, to a lesser degree, what they say.¿ Today, I am wearing creepers, black slacks, a white t-shirt, and¿ a belt....who marketed this idea in which I am attempting to¿ copy? Oh! That's right! The pilgrims!!!

See above point. Who cares what you're wearing? I'm much more interested in thoughts and opinions.¿ You know that I mean non-political and uncaring as the very same¿ deifinition. Apparently, they mean two different things, but you¿ are the one that knew it.

THEY DO MEAN DIFFERENT THINGS. DIFFERENT WORDS MEAN DIFFERENT, SPECIFIC THINGS. "Non-political" and "uncaring" and in no vague way, even, homonyms.¿ Correct me, but don't try to distort¿ it, son.

As you wish, Dad.¿ And, if you have only so much interest in politics, yet¿ you yap on it for hours on end, why the hell should I listen to¿ you. For all I know, you are just some Manic Street Preacher.¿ [Richey, the band says hi!]

I told you you were awesome, but you continually feel the need to re-prove it. Well, I must say, you've done it this time.¿ F-U-C-K off.

Classy.¿ You are in no position to be making insults. This¿ is not an English class. It's a DISCUSSION BOARD. No one cares¿ about grammatical errors. Everything typewritten on this board¿ has been written without a first draft. Does that bother you?¿ I'm not different.....Why is my name Michael, and not Suzanne?¿ Why is Suzanne a girl and not Paul? Why is Morrissey British and¿ not Canadian? EVERYBODY IS DIFFERENT! Why do you find it so hard¿ to believe that there are contradictions to your labels, your¿ catgeories, your formulas, etc. ?

I'm far more comfortable with the assumption that WE ARE ALL THE SAME. We all have the same needs, essentially. That we go about it in different ways does not disguise the fact. I know it may seem tright and easy, but one of Moz's best known lines is "I am human and I need to be loved, just like everybody else does". A perfect illustration of how everybody has far more in common than they may like to admit. So what if someone is British, Canadian, a boy or a girl? Doesn't matter to me.¿ Bigotry is not a becoming trait. Why don't you ask your mother¿ what sexuality I am?

Stop outdoing yourself! 'Ask your mother' jokes went wide and far on the playground, I must admit. Here, however, I was hoping for a bit more.¿ I don't understand how a bigoted @#!!!¿ like you would be doing listening to Morrissey.¿ You do realize¿ that Moz is ambiguous, right?

To be honest, Morrissey is not ambiguous to me. He's rather well self-defined. He simply believes that any and all sexuality should be under the same heading, whether its straight, bi, or gay.¿ You made several statements that¿ disgrace the honor that everyone in here represents.

I disagree with this statement. I think you think too highly of your constituents on this message board. Agreed, there is occasionally a witty statement and, albeit seldomly, an intelligent comment, overall, I feel the content to be severely lacking.¿ Pick an opinion. I see two up here. (If you ask me, you are a¿ sexist).

Do you understand that when you make a statement how you feel that women in general are capable of a given thing, it precludes the thought from which it stems--that there exists a belief somehow that the adverse is true. The fact that you believe that women are capable of holding a high office is condescending towards all women, because its an idea that SHOULD NOT HAVE TO BE SAID. Its disgraceful. If we want a person in any office, it has nothing to do with sex. It has to do with that specific person.¿ Enjoyed it because you enjoy S&M.

Wow, scraping a barrel as low as yours is a extraordinary feet.¿ I do realize that you¿ haven't very much alliance to your position, and now that you¿ have taken cheap shots, you hardly have and credibility, too.

Explain, please. Explaining's all I ever seem to do.¿ And, I know most of what you said was sarcasm. You are a silly¿ little man, and it's sad how one can be born without a heart.

Sue me! Sarcasm is better than "suck it" and "F-U-C-K Off", and you know it.¿ Get some balls and tell us! I was asking you. Be responsible and¿ address it. From what I've seen, you are only some¿ newspaper-reading, Rush Limbaugh listening, CNN-obsessed¿ heckler, not a respectable source. It's people like you that¿ make me vomit at politics. Life experiences are more educational¿ than the propaganda you are preaching. Take that to the bank,¿ for one day, I hope someone locks you in a room with no-one but¿ gay people. Don't drop the soap, Jeff.

What is that last sentence supposed to mean? Is that ridiculing gay activity, by hoping that I will have to worry about being sodomized or raped? How can you call me silly when you make statements as immature as these that any third-grader could understand, whilst my sarcasm can be argued to a bit more disciplined and relevant to the conversation at hand.

As far as my opinions on gay people--I feel homosexuality is a psycological CONDITION (notice I do not stress it as a disorder) derived from a particular parental attitude towards children. I feel that most people in general have homosexual tendencies (obviously some more than others), much more than may commonly be discussed, and I feel that it is useless to attempt to cure it or to discover any further how it comes about. I have no prejudice towards gay people whatsoever. In fact, I would probably have to say that's its the gay musicians and artists that are the majority in my tastes. However, I myself am not gay. PLEASE NOTE: I do certainly criticize an overbearingly obvious gay lifestyle. This does not mean gay sex. This means that when a sexual preference plays such a large role in someone's personality that everyone is immediately attuned to it in his/her's presence, that its a nuisance and an obstacle in that gay person's growth. I'm not saying that gay people should remain in the closet--I'm saying lose the stereotypical conventions of a gay man or women's life. Have gay sex all day every day, it doesn't bother me. Simply don't wear it as a badge on your sleeve. Sexuality is something given to you, not something earned, and shoudl be appreciated as a gift until its fleetingness is discovered late in life.

Feel free, Mani, to be as opinionated as you wish in response. But, I beg of you to leave out the profanity and vulgarity. Deep down inside you there is a serious adult dying to get out.

Monica suffers from low self esteem (she needs validation.) Bill Clinton suffers from insecurity (he needs power.) In the end they both have the same prob. Feel sorry for them.

So now Clinton is as evil as Osama Bin Laden or Saddam Hussein? I never heard of Clinton using chemical weapons on his own people or funding the bombing of an american embassy. You want to talk about innocent lives? Nobody here said Clinton was perfect. He's far from it. Never has been a perfect president ever. Don't forget about Granada with Reagan or Iraq with Bush.

No I think Bill's problem is he likes to f**k with as many women as he can.

Re: NO MOZ ALLOWED

> So, do you wear the wifebeater as a clip-on tie? How does that¿ work?

No. It's just another shirt.¿ Try Malcolm McDowell. He's not doing anything.

Why should they let him? He killed Captain Kirk.¿ Use your illusion should have had a skull and crossbones on it.

Or, in England, a tattoo on someone's arm saying "Generation Terrorists"¿ Crap. Well, I guess it turns out good since I spent my $2 on gas¿ getting myself the hell away from "Office Space".

Hmmmmm.¿ Um...some time for what? There is something about this I'm not¿ getting.¿ Ah...you're holding out to increase your value.

The paperwork is murder, and then I must seek out investors. See, I have only begun this operation over a week ago. This is the fastest I've ever worked, so please be patient. I know how to find your site and email, so don't fret. I won't forget you.¿ Yeah, you wear turtlenecks from the 60's. Since that was Beatnik¿ wear in the 50s, you are a decade behind.

Or, maybe I found out it was 60s AFTER I bought it. I bought it coz IT WAS A TURTLENECK. It's genre doesn't matter 2 monkey craps to me.¿ Here my sequence:¿ I go to a store 2)I wander around a bit. 3)I don't like anything¿ 4)I wander off to the bookstore. 5)I come back 6)I find a shirt¿ 7)See it's 'dry clean only' and put it back 8)I find some¿ clothes that look tolerable. 9)I go to the dressing room 10)I¿ spend more time checking out how much weight I've lost/gained¿ since last time than I do looking at the clothes. 11)I get rid¿ of half or all of the clothes 12) I make my way to the checkout.¿ 13) I bury half of my new clothes in the closet. 14)I pull out¿ same shirts I wore last year.¿ I can't do that. Otherwise, I would be digging things out of the¿ laundry hamper.

Shopping must take forever, eh?¿ Um..oh....so that's when the satanists go to church, right?

Hey! Don't get smart! I'm a Christian.
