Modest Mouse are 24th. TBPHWY I've not heard anything by them.
Are they any good?

I hate Billy Corgan's voice with a passion that... well, I just turn him off, so it doesn't matter.

Just had to get that off my chest. I have no idea if his songs are any good, maybe if they got someone who could sing to record them I could stand to get past the first few bars.

Well, it is rating bands TOURING the USA, not USA bands. Mark Knopfler, Genesis, Iron Maiden, Def Leppard, Annie Lennox, etc aren't "USA bands."
