Top 100 British albums; of interest here-

54 - Morrissey - Vauxhall and I
26 - The Smiths - Hatful Of Hollow
19 - The Smiths - Strangeways Here We Come
2 - The Smiths - The Queen Is Dead

and at number 1 - The Stone Roses - The Stone Roses.

I'll get a full list up later, along with the attendant quotes from Johnny Marr. Also there's another HUGE full page advert for the provincial dates - nice Moz picture where he seems to be coughing or something - scan up later.

Best Wishes,

Sk./Peter

Looking forward to it.
Glad to see Vauxhall is doing better and better in these polls.
And Stangeways at 19 is a nice surprise too.
Just annoyed by The Stone Roses always beating TQID...
Shouldn't Revolver be number 1?

Thank you in advance, Uncleskinny. I'm looking forward to that list
and "coughing" advert (maybe he is clearing his throat...Ahem, La, La,La.)

Maybe this is a not-so-silly question, but when they ranked the top 100 British
albums, do they mean top albums by made British artists or do they mean albums that best convey the British mentality, British life, or what it means to be British? Or both?

Do they explain?
