Nice hot day decided to take the motorbike (kawasaki z750) to the coast - had a rear tyre blow out on a duel carridgeway at 70ish mph! heard the bang - handaling went all over the place. Managed to stop it eventually on a roundabout. Feel so lucky that i didnt come off at that speed.

Yikes, that's no fun. Good to hear you weren't injured or worse. Motorcycles scare the crap out of me, I just know that if I ever tried riding one I'd end up getting smeared like strawberry jam on the road.

Hell, you must be shaken up! Last week, hubby nearly lost the back wheel of his KR75 while travelling at speed. There's a lot of it about. I think I'll stick to falling off my moped.
