I have been unable to get one ticket to see Morrissey. I come on here and people are bragging about how many times they are going to the concerts.

Am I suprised, not really, it's the way the world is today.

By 'the way the world is' do you mean that it's first come, first serve? What a novel concept.

By the way...maybe it's not bragging. Perhaps it's being excited that they put forth the effort to get tickets to see Mozzer?
BTW...I saw him 6 times this year.
nyah-nyah-nyah nyah-nyah nyah!:p:D

There are always people on here (and other sites like craigslist etc) that are trying to sell, swap etc tickets. Just wait till closer to the gig dates and I am sure you will find people who will be trying to get rid of some tickets.

Just saying...

Zing!!!!

and I agree with esheh

Do ya think I went too far with the edit though? I was going for cute meets sarcastic meets childish...but it might've been a little much.

Said like true Morrissey fans

You're right! I should just go online and complain about how life isn't fair. Oh wait...um...maybe you are a true Morrissey fan afterall. ;):D

Seriously though...you can probably get cheap tickets the day of. If you don't want to risk being shut out though, there's always ticket brokers. Here in the States, there were still tickets available at brokers unitl right before the concert dates. Some venues even release additional tickets closer to the dates. Just keep trying.

You may have seen him 6 times last year but I saw The Smiths in 1985 :p

Anyway I am trying ebay and stuff so I still might get some tickets. I hope everyone who does get to see him has a great time.;)

Now I'm jealous. ;) I tried to go...but unfortunately, my 2nd grade teacher wouldn't let me skip class that day. Damn Catholic schools HAHA

Anyways...good luck to you on your hunt...where there's a will...and a credit card, there's a way. :)

You know what I do when I want to go to a yankee game that is sold out? I fork up the dough and spend the bills if it means that much to me. That simple. Yankees Red Sox? I want to be a part of that. I spend the money.

I say anything you want that badly is totally justifyable. You only live once. So what if you'll be eating pasta for the next 3 months  WhatSheSaid, go see him then come back to BRAG all about it. It's what we do & what we like to hear.

You will easily easily easily get tickest for the London dates. I can't believe how easily people are duped into thinking they can't get one.
The Moz fan base in London is about 10-15,000. The Roundhouse capacity over 6 nights is 18,000. So the tickets get snapped up initially but many are by people trying to make money out of it. They are already going for £20 each on Gumtree (just type in 'Morrissey tickets') and will be going for less nearer the time.

Stop being such a feeble, Morrissey fan, milksop!

I was 10

My Brooklyn born italian mother did not let her children play in the street let alone go to a concert.

it's not difficult to get hold of tickets, here's some simple help.

1. check Morrissey websites to see what's happening.
2. once you've checked the websites then you'll know there's a tour coming up.
3. either go to the venues & purchase tickets or buy online from such sites as ticketmaster or see tickets.
4. on this site there's a forum called Marketplace, check there or even post a request, I've seen tickets available today.
5. If you've been to idle to do any of the above then there's a site called ebay, they always have plenty.
5. Still not been arsed to get off your arse then you can try a tout outside the venue.

my big brothers bigger than your big brother ... how boring

I have a little brother who may very well be bigger than all your big brothers. My boy is 6'4 and easily nearing into 275lbs as of late.

Seriously Grim it comes to this. If they are unable to do any of the options that you state above then you go to a second dealer and pay the price or do not complain.

PM me

It's just the way the tickets were sold, you got something of a discount for buying a 6-night package, but not much change out of £200.

I don't think you'll find anybody bragging about it, more relief that they could get one.

Then there's people like me, I panic bought one an am not even going to London. Mind, the seats we got for Edinburgh more than made up for that. I will still be wanting my goody-bag though :)

so stop pissing and moaning, the touts will have plenty on the night, at bargain prices no doubt.

And I've seen The Smiths too, you don't hear me going on and on about it, do you?

I know how frustrating it can be. I counldn't get tickets for the Spring/Summer UK tour in 2006 and ended spending hundreds of pounds buying from so called "specialist sites". I thought it well worth it and I'd do it again, but it cost me dear.
