it took me some years to like Southpaw, but I like it more than ROTT at
the moment, well maybe I can become fond of ROTT afterall

so bring back Steve Lilliwhyte

I actually REALLY like Southpaw and would take it over ROTT ANY day.

Well, obviously my first choice would be for Moz to get down in the studio with the Neptunes. :p:rolleyes::D

Honestly, I like ROTT...I think it's better than Quarry in terms of production and as an album overall. But I really love the sound and production from the era between Your Arsenal to Southpaw and think his present band line-up and the new songs we've heard so far would sound great if they were tackled from one of those production approaches. Anyone who would be able to bring Moz's next album closer to that gets my vote. As much as I respect Visconti's work, I don't think he is the man for that task.

Well, it looks as if Finn on board for the next album.

A surprise, but I'm not disappointed. I'm sure he's aware of some of the criticisms and will use real strings and a few less bells and whistles next time. Just mic Morrissey's voice the same way and all will be well.

Thoughts?

Oh, and does anybody think Visconti is out because of the Kristeen debacle?

But then, Moz apparently recorded That's How...with Finn in Texas before that went down, so..
