i think the soap opera was called "south" and it was a spin-off of "brookside".

Thanks for sharing these. I was at this show. I think it was the final (2nd) night of the Las Vegas shows in December 1999. Morrissey typically wore the sailor suit for many of the encores in 1999. He didn't wear it during any other part except the encore because the suit was too hot (all wool) to wear for more than a few minutes.

As for *why* he wore the sailor suit, I guess it's because he likes seamen! ; p
