I get what you are saying about how he didn't come right out and say what he really thinks about some of the bigger PR debacles. But, to me, it was implied, through the "falls silent" and "I can see your point" that Boz is conflicted about them, too.
He didn't give an enthusiastic defense of...
He was in drag for all of the 2012 tour this spring and summer- the S. American, Asian, Southwestern USA, and the European dates- save for a couple of nights.
Who knows what the rest of the USA tour will hold? :p
You're right- he was indeed talking about the big record stores. From the June TTY statement:
"Record shops also continue to exist in Japan – most notably Tower Records, where we are allowed to remember the joy of 'accidental discovery'."

I...

Great read- one of the best recent interviews, I'd say.
It was interesting to read about the offers that he turned down from Sony, and from The Killers.
And the "Eric Bana" answer to his "favourite Australian animal" question was classic! :p
Re:
I guess that explains why he turned down the New York Dolls's offer to be on their album.
I remember being really surprised when I read that in an interview.
