Moz used the term "irregular regulars" at the jacksonville show 7/17/07. He dedicated the new song I'm Throwing My Arms Around Paris to the irregular regulars.
I think a lot of people underestimate this album. I don't really understand why though. I think it's way better than Southpaw & Maladjusted. I have always loved Kill Uncle. My favorite tracks are Mute Witness, Our Frank, King Leer, (well all of them really.) Anyway, I just wished that Moz would...
I'm with you Dallow. I rather it be like normal. You show up early, wait in line and all take turns entering the building. I'm not cool with getting there early waiting all day and then other people show up at say 5 or 6pm and have the same oppurtunity as me to be front row.
I am going to the Austin show. Maybe we could meet there. I'm meeting others from here also. I will also be going to the Dallas show since Moz is playing 3 blocks from my house. Anyway, let me know. Send me a message.
I would really love to hear songs from Kill Uncle. It's one of my favorite Moz albums actually. I mean Mute Witness is fricken awesome along with Sing Your Life, Place In Hell, Our Frank. I don't understand why Moz doesn't like this album. Its sad to think we may never hear these songs live...
WTF!!!! That really sucks. I mean, for the people that will have been waiting in line all day for front row now has to compete against 300 people. Leave it to Dallas to screw things up. Thank God for the Austin show.
The Palladium is on the south side of downtown Dallas. Its about 1 mile from downtown actually. I live about 3 blocks from the palladium so I'm walking to the show.
I'm surprised also that so many people don't like Kill Uncle. I love this album. Mute Witness is a great song along with Sing Your Life, Asian Rut, King Leer, etc... I always listen to this record all the way through cause I like it so much.
Thats too funny. I just noticed that yesterday as I was reading the "Observer" here in Dallas that Andy is playing at The Cavern the same night as Morrissey. Johnny will be here with Modest Mouse on May 10th. How strange to have 3/4 of The Smiths in town in one month but not together as The...
I'm going to the Dallas show & this venue is totally GA. There are no chairs anywhere in the place. It's all standing room only & no balcony. This is going to be a great show!
In high school, a friend had mentioned The Smiths to me and I had never heard any of their music. One day I was out at a local record store so I bought one of their albums. I listened to it & I really didn't like it at all. I put in my closet where it stayed for a year or something. I one day...
I think Morriseey would be doing what he's doing today (making records.) It would have most likely taken more time to get his career going without Johnny but in the end it seems like music has been his passion all along.
