is moz overdoing with UK shows because he is greedy?

how can you call a singer who makes a living out of recording and touring greedy for doing just that? that's his job, his livelihood. as for touring england more often than other places i can see why that would be frustrating for fans in other corners of the wolrd who'd like to see him but...

If only one worked at Hotel De Russie :)

http://stanleymchale.merseyblogs.co.uk/archives/2006/07/monday_17th_jul.html ...We went to The Spanish Steps, which were slightly too full of tourists to be the peaceful and graceful place they would be in autumn, and from there along Via Del Babuino to The Hotel De Russie, one of the best...

    Morrissey at the Oya festival

yeah, an upload (audio or video) of the morrissey gig at oya would be fantastic - meanwhile, here's a translation of the article moz'art girl linked to (great picture of morrissey by the way, and he's without his beloved rings for a change) ---------------- "You have nerves of steel", said...

    Morrissey Writing a Book???

you're right, the way amzon has written it, it looks like it's morrissey that wrote the book, but according to this link it seems that morrissey's contribution is an essay among other essays from other people about linder's art/work - http://www.artbook.com/390570160x.html Linder...

Henry Rollins is nice about Morrissey

oh dear... So do you actually SEE Morrissey in the audience in the video, or is it just Rollins' facial expression? is that the 'Talking From The Box/Henry Rollins Go To London'? He, Rollins, was on Swedish TV last night (we receive two Swedish channels in Denmark) in a programme about...

    Green Gartside, Rough Trade, Morrissey

This is nothing special, just a little, not too flattering, comment from Green Gartside A.K.A Scritti Politti about Morrissey and Rough Trade (shame about the comment, but he DOES have a brilliant new album out) - http://www.playlouder.com/feature/+scritti-politti/

    Neil Tennant

does it really matter all that much whether or not neil tennant likes morrissey? i don't think morrissey is a particularly big pet shop boys fan either but i guess they probably appreciate and respect each other to some extent anyway. also, judging by this (which i saw on a pet shop boys message...

Pet Shop Boys was on the Jonathan Ross show (radio) today and they talked briefly about Morrissey when Ross asked them about what they thought of him. Neil Tennant didn't seem like he was a massive fan but he did say he quite liked some of the songs and thought Morrissey was a 'briliant...

    London —sights to see

thanks for info regarding stratford. no point in going there then, even for olympic reasons. where do you go out in shoreditch if you don't mind me asking? i used to go to george and dragon, catch, cargo and bricklayer's arms a lot. and vibe bar and 93 feet east in brick lane.

    London —sights to see

well Please, if you read my post you'd have seen that i wrote that i didn't actually think that mile end/stratford were very interesting places, only if one is interested in the forthcoming olympics it might have some sort of touristical value. i have never been mugged in mile end but of course...

    London —sights to see

...a few more things. if you walk from Old Street tube station, before you go down to Old Street/Shoreditch and all the fun parts, you might first wanna go down City Road, and after about 2 minutes walk (or less)on your right hand side you'll see a burial-ground/cemetery. It doesn't look...

    London —sights to see

...oh i forgot, if you do visit the east end it might be worth it going one-two stations further out to mile end and stratford - not there's much to see here but then you can boast you visited the forthcoming olympic city-area for the 2012 olympics in london - i think they've already begun...

    London —sights to see

Proper Eastenders will probably tell you the East End isn't what it used to be, but it is still worth a visit both for historical reasons and recreational reasons - best thing is to go to Old Street tube station and walk down Old Street until it meets Shoreditch High Street, around that area...
