From the Red Lightning myspace page blog entry:

...In our time Red Lightning recorded 16 tracks, played 35 shows across 7 states had airplay on the air and the net. There is 43 other states and a few other continents and countries I would have liked to add to that. Well moving right along.

I've never worked harder for any band in my whole 20 + years of music. I pulled every resource at my disposal & then some to make Red Lightning happen. Alain stated on stage and on many other occasions "There wouldn't be a Red Lightning if it weren't for Johnny" I was honored.

The experience of Recording, playing shows, and getting to know these guys & all of you was an honor beyond words I can write. It was well worth it. Only the future will tell whether the complete album will ever come out. No word on that for you now. As for the reason for our split I can only say that the winds of change have blown against us rather than with us and we could no longer carry on. Milo and I are glad to have been a part of the magic that is Alains music.
