I just got an e-mailing from Lost Highway Records which includes an ad for the Maladjusted re-release coming out on cd and digitally on June 9.

Lifted from the amazon.com description: Digitally remastered and expanded edition of his 1997 album, now completely re-sequenced by Morrissey and including four bonus tracks...Presented in a deluxe hard-back packaging complete with a 24-page picture booklet boasting new artwork, a typically captivating new essay by Morrissey himself, and rare photos.

Seriously, the artwork looks to be about 10000x better than the original. Good work, Moz!

  • I am so excited, I can’t wait until June 9th. Maladjusted was my favorite recourd. I thought at the time that nothing could top it. My ultimate favorite song was, is, Sorrow Will Come In The End. And by the way, Mike Joyce aka Mike Gross – don’t blame me, blame yourself. I mean really … that “wretttccchhhed” ‘DJ’. Haaa. Sorrow Will Come … was like a premonition, sort of. Because that idiot (that wretched drummerrr) managed to get himself dragged into the court system. Yep. And now Morrissey will be getting all of this money. I’ve been trying to do the math. I’d venture to say, it should be waaay over twenty-five thousand dollars. No, he’s going to get a lot more. But I’m not going to tell you all really the substantial amounts of money that Morrissey is going to attain because of the legalities.

Anyways, these pictures on the “new” Maladjusted, well the two that I am looking at right now, Morrissey looks so gorgeous as usual. In just a few more days, I’ll get to see all of the new pictures of the drop dead gorgeous Morrissey and I know that his essay is going to be genius just as his statement to you all, recently, was.

I actually also love Alma Matters, because of all of the innuendos connected to Princess Diana’s tragedy. All of Morrissey’s visions. It brings back flashbacks when Maladjusted was #1 to me. Now YOR is #1. Well I guess what I mean is the two recourds have “totally” different meanings, innuendos, implications …

Well Morrissey will be playing Luxembourg tomorrow, and I know ‘ya all’ are going to have an amazing perfect time because the band and Morrissey are going to be above and beyond better than ever. And I have June 9th to look forward to because Maladjusted meant everything to me. Still means everything to me.

Thank you to the recourd company in Tennessee, my “hometown”, you’ve made a happy woman very old.
Thank you Tennessee and Morrissey, naturally … for making the dream Real. This is literally like a dream come true.

  • What a great record that was! The last of the 1990's Morrissey. His music changed a bit since then, but I guess it's quite typical to like the old stuff more...
