I saw him smirking. Don't feel too bad about his comments. He always comes back with a negative comment when someone demonstrates their adoration to him, though extreme. My favorite part of all of this is that me and my friends were totally making fun of her in the lobby before the show for her Glamour-Don't outfit. Anyone knows that you shouldn't wear a leopard-print bag if the entire rest of your outfit is also leopard print. Animal-print overkill -- talk about disgusting! hahaha

I am so conflicted on this issue.

On one hand, I feel disgusted with her. She violated him (even if he did in some way enjoy it, which I believe he did) by thrusting this forced intimacy on him in a way that was not really intimate at all. It was a selfish act, designed for her benefit and not his. not at all.
I try to do things, even small ones, for Moz that are designed to give something back to him, because he's given me SO much.

On the other hand, I feel happy for her. If she really does care for Moz, then that must've been the ultimate for her. I'm sure he enjoyed it on some level as well, because, let's face it, anyone would be flattered by a young, pretty girl being so obviously attracted to them. (...and I don't care WHAT your preferences are. it's flattering)

I remember a girl in Vegas (9/21/07) who surfed over the barrier to try to shake M's hand & he refused to touch her. And I remember her wearing a leopard print jacket. I guess she didn't get the message.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that -- barring another stage invading kiss-bandit -- these pix will be the only evidence we'll ever have that Morrissey has ever made out with a woman.

I honestly never thought I'd see a photo like that middle one - I have to say it blew a circuit in the ol' noggin when I first saw it.. but I'm definitely glad someone caught that moment on film.

Let's face it, there are a large number of us who wish we could have had this experience. I admit, the outfit she is wearing is not to my tastes, but leopard print has it's place and was very popular with many of the low-rent characters in 1960's kitchen sink dramas, so perhaps she was actually paying a discreet homage to Morrissey's favourite films?

I also concede the point that others have made that it is a little rude to run up to someone and slip your tongue in their mouth but please remember, when you put yourself out there in the way that Morrissey does, constantly asking to be loved by your audience, you must accept that people will respond to that. I myself would probably have hugged him, maybe kissed his hand, but who knows what goes through your mind when you are there on stage, in his presence? The truth of the matter is I am unlikely to ever leap on stage, no matter how much I'd like to express my extreme gratitude to him for his music and its effect on my life as I am far too sensible, but a part of me wishes I wasn't.

Strangely, a similar thing once happened to me in a club. I was dancing by myself, on stage, and then engaged in conversation with an Irish man when another guy walked over and said, "I saw you dancing, you are very beautiful" and grabbed my face and kissed me. He did slip me the tongue and in my confusion, I accepted the gesture. He then walked away, never to be seen or spoken to again.

Did I feel violated? Not at all.

It is nice to occasionally be reminded that you are an attractive person who inspires lust in others when you are removed from that side of life yourself.

I imagine Morrissey was secretly pleased, but he has to make scathing comments to dissuade others from doing the same.

Whatever, it has happened and cannot be changed by endless debate.

If I agree with the woman's actions or not, I see no reason to sink to petty name calling and I am ashamed of those of you who have decided to deride a person you don't even know. You have no idea how long she has followed Morrissey, and if she says it's love, how can you say it's not? Love takes different forms - please don't be so narrow minded. Morrissey is a man, not a God. Though I admire him intensely, I am not so foolish to think that he is beyond reproach himself, or beyond the affection of any other member of the human race.
