  • Usually I would offer, but this is too much! I can try to buy a copy for those people who can't obtain one.

And so I drank one, it became four, and when I fell on the floor, I drank more
  • at WHS at lunchtime. here's some bits I remember.
-Stuart Maconie reviews Quarry. no score given but sounds like a 7/10 review

-British Sea Power select their 20 favourite Moz/Smiths songs. very eclectic and slightly bizaare choices with loads of solo stuff. they've even selected Ammunition from Maladjusted!

-The top 20 Smiths/Moz songs are predictably nearly all Smiths. The Viva Hate singles are there as is 'Now my heart is full' (well done Boz!) which is very high, something like number 5. There is a Light is number one. there's a list of songs which just missed the top 20. strangely, they're all solo songs with, predictably enough, a fair few B-sides like Nobody Loves Us and Jack the Ripper.

-fraid I don't think I can remember much more!

  • Had a quick read and looks excellent actually. Some good photos + YATQ gets a very good review (NOT by John Harris!).
Interesting interview with J. Marr in which he once said that he suggested to Moz that the lyrics of The Headmaster Ritual be changed to "Bruises AS BIG AS dinner plates" but Moz basically seemed to ignore him. Strangely, that is EXACTLY the line that Moz is now singing live these days!!!

  • Its a great read, well presented and cheap at only 6 notes. Buy 2 and wrap the 2nd in cellophene, keep and give to your great grandchildren so they know what real music was really like in the good old days ;-)

  • morrissey was in this months mojo mag, yes of course he graced the cover like every other mag thats being released lately(nme, spin,q,) but whats interesting is that he mentioned this special edition Q mag and said it was quote"boring" that these people that are interviewd dont even know the true story and that Q should talk to those who truly do. when asked who those people might be he didnt want to answer. im just wondering why mojo also printed this special edition mag when moz himself slandered it in their own interview?? anyone out there??
