I have received a "Cease and Desist" from Lollapalooza regarding this item (which has been removed). Excerpt:

It has come to our attention that you have been publishing confidential financial and other information (which information is inaccurate and in some instances false) regarding the Lollapalooza Festival (hereinafter ?the Festival?) and the artists performing thereon, on the above referenced website. You are hereby advised that neither we, nor any artists performing in connection with the Festival, have authorized the publication of the above referenced information. As such, your conduct may constitute a violation of our legal rights and those of any and all artists performing in connection with the Festival...

  • Damn the Pixies for replacing Morrissey at the Ventura theater. So many Los Angeles Morrissey fans could see him there!

  • I don't think that The Pixies are replacing Morrissey for this show. The only Lola dates that The Pixies are confirmed for as of yet(from an official Pixies press release) are Ventura and NY, and they are listed as being an act on day 2. Here's how pollstar lists the Lollapalooza itinerary for Ventura as well:

  • Yo, I love The Pixies especially Frank Black but theres no point in going to Lollafuckingpalooza if Morrissey is not there. He is the only act that can get me to go to that corporate bullshit crap pile of a festival.

  • I just checked pollstar again, and now the days of the Ventura show are different, and The Pixies are listed as appearing on day 1......
