I'm over the Morrissey concert experience at the moment. There's been too many cancellations and finger crossing in hopes that'll he'll show up. We need new music and albums or retirement.

Yeah it's been bleak alright. We're a few albums in the grave and more reissues due than you can poke a stick at. Unfortunately I never saw Suede live but I have seen the Manics quite a few times.

Maybe they were doing the rounds door knocking to get an album deal?

I've never really liked Girlfriend in a Coma or Bigmouth Strikes Again. This is not because I've heard them too many times. I just don't like the melodies or the music behind them at all. The lyrics aren't great either. I've heard How Soon is Now a million times and I'll hear it a million more...

It's par for the course for songs of bands to become dated and the Smiths are not immune to this predicament. Some of their songs have lost their edge for sure and some have gained a sharper edge. I listen to Morrissey way more than I do the Smiths. Songs like Girlfriend in a Coma need to be...

When I opened this page I had another google window open that was covering the words after "New Morrissey....." and for a second I thought it was an new Morrissey album announcement. Having said that, these pics would make for a good front and back for an album or at least a single.

Both versions feature Vini Reilly on guitar but I agree that this one is not better. The guitar flourishes on the OG version are far superior.

When people are deluded they're usually quite emphatic. With that said, Vini Reilly's contribution to Viva Hate was profound and it would not have been the album we all know and love without him.

He does look good and happy. Doing nothing but living seems to agree with him. Don't get too comfortable Morrissey. We want you miserable and ambitious when you rejoin the fray.
