What would be your ideal supergroup ?

B

Billy Budd

Guest
Only one member from each band mind - here's mine:

Vocals - Paul Heaton (Housemartins/Beautiful South)
Guitar - Johnny Marr (I don't think I need to put owt here - oh crap)
Bass - Barry Adamson (Magazine)
Keyboards - Clint Boon (Inspiral Carpets)
Drums - John Maher (Buzzcocks)

What a racket that lot would make eh.

With backing vocals from Cocteau Liz Fraser, Kate Bush and Alison Moyet, of course.

Paul Heaton? Ouch... I heard a story about him from a mate of mine who worked at the Beeb from when the band were on the Jools Holland show... apparently, at one point his drink problem was so great, he was so drunk he @#!!! himself just before they were due to do the set and he had to borrow a pair of trousers from one of their entourage.

Nice.

Can't stand his nasal voice, me.

If it could be anyone, it'd be Billy Mackenzie.... if he were still here. Finest male voice we've ever had.

Forgot about female backing vocals, I would go for, Kate Bush, Siouxie Sioux, and Beth Gibbons (Portishead) - crikey.

Have to agree about Billy MacKenzie, haven't got much of his stuff, but I like what I've heard. As for our Paul, well my Uncle Brent has done far worse.

Proving how bad your taste is again, huh

I understood that Peter Hook was 90% of New Order`s sound just when I heard the first single of Monaco...

Re: And Johnny Marr where he is? he's one of the Famous guitar heroes !

Mr Proper

'A HOMO'?!?!?!? YOU NUMB @#!!!ING @#!!!.

ONLY A DULL DULL DULL YANK WOULD CALL SOMEONE AS GODLIKE AS MARR A 'HOMO'.

AND IS 'HOMO' MEANT TO BE DEROGATORY?????

IN MY BOOK, 'HOMOS' ARE THE GUYS WHO DRESS BETTER, SMELL BETTER, HAVE MORE STYLE, CLASS AND ALSO, THEY'RE THE ONES WHO ATTRACT ALL THE WOMEN....

PRICK.

P.S. MAYBE YOU WERE THINKING OF YOUR DAD (REMEMBER HIM?) WHEN U MADE THIS COMMENT?

Are you an idiot? Wait don;t answer, rhetorical question coming through

you're a Yank, remember...

...and Yanks just don't do humour (spelt correctly, with 2 'u's) well at all, ok. I feel I have to remind you of that, as, with your very short memory (nothing before Vietnam), it may have slipped your attention.

And only speak when you're spoken to... that's another annoying thing about septics... they're incredibly rude and interrupt at any opportunity.

Re: you're a Redcoat, remember...

And the only thing remembered in our country about your little island is two things:

1. Textile Factories

2. The fact that you really think you have any power in the U.N. "wahh, give us $$$ America."

The UK survives because WE LET YOU SURVIVE.

Next time I'll whisper that as I fu.ck your mother with my CIRumcised dick you humorless idiot.

I have read death camp statitistics funnier than your comments. You really should consider something more at your level: try handing out copies of The Big Issue or something you loser (or is it tosser, who cares.)

Re: you're a Redcoat, remember...

your 'cirumcised dick'? What's cirumcised? My mother wouldn't be interested, dear, she's always too busy on my cock to pay any attention to your shrivelled old walnut.

Oh, and humourless has 2 'u's, you illiterate fool.
