That guy looks vaguely like this grumpy old has-been I know who's always making an ass of himself and saying dumb things. But this guy seems much more subtle and in control. Maybe it's his kid.

However, I think this looks more like 1986-87

Agreed, I think its Smiths era, you can tell by the hair and clothes

Using deduction, you can come to the conclusion that this photo is probably from May 1984 as Colm Henry was a photographer for Hot Press in the 80s and that was the only interview Morrissey gave them while with The Smiths.

The photo looks like late '84 or early '85 to me, the Meat Is Murder days.
Only going by the way Moz looks and the clothes he is wearing.
