Yes I got my copy today From Asda. Not read it yet but it looks pretty interesting. Some nice pictures I hadn't seen before also an old Morrissey interview.

It's worth getting for the John Peel 'festive 15' CD alone, The Wedding Present, The Field Mice, House Of Love, Billy Bragg, Half Man Half Biscuit etc etc
Cool article on the QID too...and an old Moz one at the back.

enjoy!

By the way Mr. Kes, I moved house, so that pint in Calverley is a distant hope now. Oh well.

Best Wishes,

KEEPING VERY QUIET SKINNY?
so what's your opinion on the moz/joyce story?

Since you asked - I think it's all a mess and a real shame it's come to this. I don't have any real feelings on either side - for me, it's always been about the music - I've no real desire to get into slanging matches, so apart from the initial exchanges, I've kept shtum. I've seen what happens to the board and main page when people with strong allegiances dig their heels in, and it's all a little unseemly - I don't want to take part in any of that. Morrissey is an artist who has and continues to convey emotion like no other, and this elicits strong responses from his fans, so it's no surprise people have robust feelings and take polarised positions. I am and always have been a fan. Joyce played his part in the best band we have ever seen. Morrissey is a superb artist. I'll leave it there.
