sgt pepper - the beatles - yawn
loveless - my bloody valentine - nice in parts but not the classic it's been called. Unlistenable in parts.
arctic monkeys debut - ranked no 5 in NME's "all time" indie list - hahaha
Surfer Rosa - the pixies - nice in parts but not a great album, and not the classic the press say it is
a northern soul - the verve - 3 or 4 nice songs, and a pile of steaming crap. Overwrought, uppity nonsense.
almost every david bowie album ever - he's done some great songs, but the albums don't really stack up too well
green - rem - progressive folk music. Hmmmph.
screamadelica - primal scream - 3 or 4 great songs and 6 tedious ambient tunes that sound like they were done on a casio keyboard does NOT make a great album
revolver - the beatles - yawn (always ranked number 2 in all-time lists - is lyrically close to take that, and musically drab)
blonde on blonde - bob dylan - some nice tunes but an "all time great?" I think not.
