So what do you all think after hearing the sound clips?

Just some thoughts on:

I Have Forgiven Jesus

Reminiscent of November, for obvious reasons.
Musically it sounds great to me, the vocals may take a while to sink in.

First Of The Gang

I'm glad Morrissey came to his senses and dropped the vocals he did
on Kilborn. I'm quite satisfied with the production, mainly because
there isn't much of it and the song hasn't been touched.

I Like You

There's something wrong with the sync between the vocals and melody.
Still it's one of my favorite songs. Can't wait to hear the 'acid-
house' intro.

The World Is Full Of Crashing Bores

I actually like the production and the strings.
Subtle differences really.

Let Me Kiss You
Sounds like the early years Morrissey, which is not bad.

I think it sounds wonderful; I'm so excited to hear the entire album. The production really sounds great: full, rich, Jerry Finn (I think I read this somewhere) described the sound as "creamy"...it really is.

Morrissey's voice has never sounded better.

The only criticism is that Crashing Bores is just too slow for me to fully appreciate, being so used to the version played during the last tour.

From what I've heard so far,the album sounds superb.
The one song I cant get out of my head so far is "Come Back to Camden",which sounds magnificent in a dreamy way.
Can't Wait for May,album and concerts!!

I think "Crashing Bores" is played at the right pace (I don't remember it ever being played faster).

But "I like You" sounds less jovial, maybe because of the space ship effect.

All in all it makes out a great album.

I personally prefer the tougher songs, but it is very intriguing,
reminds me of "You Know It's Gonna Happen Some Day".

First off, thank you so much!

I Have Forgiven You Jesus - I think that of all the clips from the new album, this one's my least favourite thus far - not terribly catchy, and not my favourite lyric, though I still think it's good.

First of the Gang to Die - I really like the addition of backup vocals during the chorus.

I Like You - I've always loved this song, and I don't really hear much difference here, so I'm happy.

The World is Full of Crashing Bores - Again, not a huge departure from earlier versions, just richer, and I love the way he sings "and love me" - my God!

Let Me Kiss You - This was a huge surprise for me, as I hadn't been very excited about this song after first reading the lyrics, but wow! I'm so impressed! His voice is just breathtaking!

Come Back to Camden is the WORST song Moz had ever released. Utter shite.

And what a f***ing waste of bringing Jerry Finn in, why bother?

All thanks go to Girl Unafraid.

More clips are forthcoming ...
