Smiths vs solo TIALTNGO

I just listened to TIALTNGO from the Smiths bootleg 'thank yer lucky stars' immediately followed by 'Earls Court' version. Obviously Moz's voice is much better, but the solo band sound better!!!! Sacrilege I know, but.......

I'm torn on the matter. I love The Smiths' version (live and recorded), of course, but I have to say that my favorite version of the song is on Live at Earl's Court. Something about how the band handles the song and how Morrissey sings it... it has a special place in my heart. It's one of the few Smiths songs that I think the band handles well (alongside Hand in Glove). Bigmouth sounded positively neutered on Earl's Court.
