Post Whatever You Are Thinking At This Very Moment

haha yeah, I love it how Morrissey does that :lbf: <3

my work is gonna go under, for sure. speaking of Tesco I managed to pick up some shifts at a grocery store I used to work at. im happy to do it (in fact, I think I like it better--the employees are more upbeat). I just hope I can manage to get enough shifts there to pay rent (im not sure if ill be eligible for any government handouts since I havent paid income tax in years--not sure how that works?). we're very clean at the grocery store. we're all on timers to wash our hands and change gloves every fifteen minutes, and there's constant cleaning of all surfaces, so im not worried about being exposed. im starting to wonder about that place I'm moving into april 1st and hope that this doesnt change anything. Id have no other place to live as the hostel is no longer going to be renting dorms and THAT would suck. what a shitty time, pep.

but at least theres no one in my family i feel i need to worry about, as i have no family over 60 or in particularly frail condition, so you have my sympathy, pep. that must be really frightening for you. im sure your ex knew you said it because you cared and were frustrated. people just need to cooperate right now (and listen to pep pep!). no jackassery is needed. I mean, i hate all these measures they're taking but if we all act like jackasses and don't do what we're told its just gonna drag on for longer and longer. there was this guy in the store complaining that we werent selling lottery tickets because we were only doing "essential services". he yelled "60 million is an essential service!" and then started grumbling that the lottery corporation is gonna go broke. thats someone who REALLY doesnt get it. the idea behind "essential services only" is to reduce unnecessary contact meaning that you shouldnt be leaving your housing over a fucking lottery ticket which you have no hope in hell of winning anyway.

you're a genius, pep! gin and tonics tonight!!
You are so awesome. Please stay safe through all this! <3

No, more just not to stick your dingas into a wood chipper by accident. I hate when I do that. (now that is an old SNL reference from a Billy Crystal sketch). I started watching BB until the episode where he handcuffed the guy in the basement and killed him and that was it. I am not a blood and guts guy. The first part of Full Metal Jacket was great and then the guy went into the bathroom and shot the sergeant and that was the end for me. :gun:
Barnaby, 'no, more just not to stick your dingas into a wood chipper by accident' WTF???🤨
is that hillbilly language?😲

OMG! If this is happening in New York I can't imagine what will happen in my poor dear country. It was (kind of) nice to meet most of you. We should say good bye in advance.

strange, that so many ppl dont know what to do with their time during corona, there is even a telephone helpline for those feeling depressed.
i must say, i really enjoy the lockdown. havent felt better for months if not years. the quiet and the social distance correspond with my mindset.

in case, anybody feels lost, bored and/or lonesome, i still have a couple of morrissey logic puzzles stored on an external device somewhere. @rifke has already solved them all and could help you.

I don't think it's so much a matter of what to do with ones time as 'is your home life comfortable enough that you can stand to spend huge uninterrupted amounts of time in it?'. A lot of people don't have the luxury of a comfortable home.

I'm depressed as hell. I want to be laid off like everyone else. I want to sit around and write and be paid to do it. Not have to serve grizzled old assbags with smokers voices for a pittance. It was okay when I thought it would get me to greece or London but what the hell am I doing it for. I'm so fucking mad.

a comfy home is essential, of course, but i came to the conclusion that those who enjoy time outdoors and can spend huge amounts of time there without feeling bored, have an advantage in these corona times. if i am not chained to the home office, i am on my bike, in the garden or hiking through depeopled landscapes, for hours.
so glad, i dont live in a big city where public places are usually overcrowded with loud and sneezing ppl and in order to get out into more spacious areas, you are dependent on public transport. i would start feeling imprisoned and fucked up too, comfy home or not.

i am presently preparing myself, mentally and physically, to go to the grocery store. desinfectant, gloves and face mask, all ready and at hand.
i buy stuff to last for at least two weeks bc i simply dont want to go out there more often. i think thats most ppl's thought when allegedly doing "panic buying".

I had an experience like that at Starbucks once. I kicked this girl out cause she was super loud at five in the morning. she got huffy and walked out and tried to slam the door but it just air breaked slowly back.
