My understanding is it's a duet. When Morrissey did the duet with Siouxsie, it was done the way Rolling Stone describes this one. Strange that they can't actually do it together, but hey......
I looked around Nancy's site and didn't find any more details. But I know that Jon Spencer sings on her album. The whole concept of the album is pop star fans of Nancy's contributing their songs, musicianship, voices in collaboration with her.
