Hot Irish Blood, Hurt English Heart

This song rocks! When the guitar kicks in it's like something out of a great spy flick. I love Morrissey's vocal melody on the name "Oliver Cromwell" and on the word "forevveerrrr"...they remind me of Morrissey's passionate vocals for the early stuff by The Smiths but with the much richer voice he now has. The rolling Rs are also always a welcome embellishment. His voice is kicking unbridled ass as of late.

The next album will blow away Maladjusted and Southpaw (I love Southpaw, but let's be honest, it didn't set fans on fire or gain new fans).

i say this a lot, but don't worry, i mean it: a-f***ing-men!

Love it... who wrote the music?

agreed... this song is fantastic! i wasn't 100% sold on either of the recent four, but this one is TRULY a stand-out. Moz & the band in fine, fine form.

my only teeny tiny microscopic critique would be the guitar "solo" at the end. maybe something a little more wild & unpredictable to match the energy of the rest of the song?

overall, i give it a 9.9!
