Tracy - Mrs Morrissex
I have a feeling that the line "remember the songs that saved your life" is a morrissey/smiths lyric. Am I right? If so, what is the song?

I tried googling it, but couldn't find it, thought you lot would know though...?

"don't forget the songs, that made you cry
and the songs that saved your life"

I hope I've got that perfectly right. It's from Rubber Ring, a Smiths song.

Thankyou! I wasn't sure if I'd even made the lyric up, but I was sure it was the smiths/Morrissey.
You've stopped me being bugged by it now!

I just tried it, and it didn't come up with the answer! Maybe I'm just not google-competent...

Help with Moz lyric!

Ok, I am genuinely scared...I used to relate to this lyric so well and recently i just thought "Erm, what does actually mean". Last week I knew and now I just keep forgetting, can someone help? It seems so bloody simple too:

"people think all we do is lie around and think about how rich we’d be if we didn’t think life could improve"

Love PTxx.

Re: Help with Moz lyric!

i think it's in regards to critics who think artists like moz bank off of their morbidity, as if it's an act, and a commodity....I could be wrong though
