New Order did - a rarity in them days - back in 1983. They did a absolutely bonkers, out-of-tune version of "Blue Monday". It was so brilliant, so hilarious. Barney even giggled on the third verse or so. Almost as funny as Morrissey gunning down his audience in 1985.
