Different version Of Everyday Is Like Sunday?

You're fairly new fan, Everyday is Like Sunday is played differently in live.

Some bootleg specialists will give us specific examples.

Wow. Moz should have gone a little easier on the self-tanning lotion.

I think that's from when he was on Kilborn to promote Quarry. It's a couple of years old, but I've never seen it either. The video quality sucks, but his voice sounds lovely. Very nice.

I assume that this clip is the "13 September 2002 - Late Late Show With Craig Kilborn (CBS, USA)" one on Passions. The banjo was pretty common in EILS at that time, but I agree that this Kilborn version is quite nice and mellow.

Instead of another "Greatest Hits" album. I'd prefer an album with the new version of Everyday is Like Sunday, etc. Perhaps release Honey You Know Where to Find Me and I'm Playing Easy to Get. Basically, more of a World of Morrissey than another Greatest Hits.

At this point, there is already a Greatest Hits album that covers his career up to Maladjusted, so I would imagine the new Greatest Hits will simply be YATQ and ROTT with the two extra tracks. ITunes anyone???

Its actually from 2002, a couple of years before Quarry came out..I remember the whole "Search for Morrissey" bit on Craig Kilborn where for weeks/months he was making a public plea for Moz to come on his show..

Moz did an interview where he blasted the concept of "Pop Idol". The boys (before mikey joined) debuted the first of the gang to die to a tv audience and taped everyday is like sunday for the following night..many said this was his public audition for a record deal as he was without one at the time..

I remember being blown away when I watched FOTGTD that night but rewatching the performance since then, its obvious the song has gotten a lot stronger live, especially with Matt taking over thr drumming duties (no offense Deano).

Did he also do I Have Forgiven Jesus, or is that a later appearance? That's the one I've seen, and assumed this was from that time.

Thanks for the info.

He did "Let Me Kiss You", "I Have Forgiven Jesus" and FOTGTD in 2004.

He was suppose to do a second taping for two more songs but it never happened.

All three performances were included on the platinum version of You are The Quarry and can be found on youtube.

If you really want to see a different version of Everyday Is Like Sunday just look at this :D

Lyrics attempt to be quite similar to the original, but some different lines are pathetic and don't have any sense  As hard as he tries, he'll never be a wizard like Moz with the lyrics :D

Boz played banjo on EDILS on pretty much every show of the 2002 tour.

This was also the tour where he looked a lot like Gil Grissom when he had a beard (as Boz did too) or like Al Borland (The sidekick on Tool Time from the show Home Improvement).
