Been listening to Now My Heart Is Full. I really love this song.

I love the lyrics and the passion expressed.

Was wondering if anyone else adores this tune as well. If so, what is it about it that you love? Do the lyrics speak to you personally? Does anyone know what this song is supposed to be about from Moz's perspective?

I think it is a truly beautiful song. Don't know what it's about in Morrissey's world,
but I can relate to it. "But I just can't explain so I won't even try to...."

I think it's him basically saying he can't be bothered explaining himself anymore.

Remember at the time he thought it would be his last record so he probably saw it as a goodbye.

Ive always wonder who the characters from Brighton Rock are meant to represent. Im guessing that they were mostly his band Al, boz etc.. at the time.

But: "Bunny I loved you, I was tired again so I tried again and now my heart is..." - now was that meant to mean Mr Marr or a past acquintance...

Well I wonder.

I agree that it's one of his best, and I think he's said somewhere that it's his favourite.

The only bad thing about vauxhall is that the best track (IMHO) is the first one.
