  • I remember the last time someone tried to sell t-shirts with a pic of a shapley young girl -

I hope she's got a strong personality and can take some of the abuse thats going to be thrown at her. Lat time was carnage.

Guy's - lets be kind - she looks a lot nicer than the last girl ( you know - the one in the Mozfather t-shirt with the big lungs )

    --April Juggs

By the way, what ever happened to our good friend April? Did she make enough money hocking her 'Moz Father' shirts so that she could hit Moz up at D.C. or the NY...or wherever else she wanted to go? If anyone knows, keep us updated. That way, I will know whether or not I should start selling my 'Morrissey Zarapes' on ebay, so that i'll be able to buy the new YATQ platinum edition. In your updates clones I will not be expecting any emails from other large-breasted women. So you can forget about sending your 'Kirsty MacColl', 'Anna-Nicole', and the "real and they're spectacular" threads.

    Dear Jim,

Jayne Mansfield had some pretty big breasts.

          • Correction: The 'story' was that you (if it really is you) were selling shirts on your site. What sparked from that story was the much larger debate (than your appearance) on copyright laws and exactly how far do the fans have a right to go with it. Frankly, I didn't agree with what most of those people were saying about your...stature. I will refrain from personal opinions regarding that, as the only purpose it served was as a side-gag for all the horn-ball dudes (and gals) on this site. Just to remind you, I wasn't the one who first noticed that...well, at least in print anyway. As to what your motives were, who knows? If your plea to attend Moz shows was to convince me to buy a shirt, then i'd better see a ticket stub for my $13 fitty! What you do with your own money is your business and anyone willing to pay you for hocking another person's image doesn't deserve proof anyway.

            1. "yes, i used the 'mozfather' image from the nme on the shirts."

Yes, that was pretty risky advertising your faux shirts on a site which has,in the past, been watched by Morrissey's legal eagles. Actually, had you been prosecuted, it would have been a pretty dumb thing to do.

            2. "i went to NINE shows - with tickets upwards of $80 with fees and stuff, that's roughly $900 i made and spent on MORRISSEY TICKETS."

Don't forget the 20 bills for parking. Listen, don't start blaming Morrissey for his sky-high prices. He's got to eat his toast and tea too you know. Erm...let's try some multiplikashun...um 9 times 80 equals...(thinking)....(still thinking)...Aha! 720 big ones! Do you mean to tell me none of that $180 dollars went towards booze at the shows? Did you include the fees and 'stuff' with the $80 duckett prices? I'm not an accountant, so i'll let that one slide.

            3. "i STOPPED selling the shirts after i made enough to go to the shows. that's all i needed/wanted the money for."

Yes, and you've also stopped making them as well. What about all those poor people who wanted to wear their "Mozfather" gear at the upcoming shows but can't because you are too busy seeing Moz. Get back to work! You aren't going to be selling much else with business sense like that. Check out her site if any of you think i'm making this up:

            http://emotionlotion.org/moz

Without emails or further proof of sale, these people are stranded and you've got their money. (I hope some of you can notice my exaggerated satire here). Why don't you earn money the honest way? Go back to selling cans and bottles like the rest of us. When the gas station isn't giving you enough hours, there's a fortune to be made in the receptacle.

            4. "i don't have a username because i hardly ever feel the need to read or post comments here, because of people like yourself. i just thought i should defend myself here one final time."

If you're not part of our community, then don't be surprised if we don't embrace your pirated ways. There's no need to defend yourself if you really don't care about the posters here. Don't let us discourage you, we like having you around. After all the 'boobs' post boob jokes, it's amazing to see the popularity of a single story that was really all about shirts to begin with...maybe not. "I'm on my hands and knees on my livingroom floor with one screen and one squeegee screening these one at a time." C'mon April, don't act like you don't know. Posting comments like that only proves the exploitation of yourself to sell a some shirts, not to mention the 'shirt two sizes too small' pic aforementioned.

            5. "i gave morrissey the jon stewart shirt when i met him, along with some mozfather shirts as well - and he liked them!"

Of course he did. But did you tell him what you did with all the profits from his image? Mozfather shirts alone isn't going to cut it. What about all the Sanrio gear you hocked as well? I see, that's how you got the hookers and booze right? Anyway, i'm sure he'd be willing to take a swing by your sweatshop soon so that he can see what else you can exploit him on.

Would you like fries with that?!

  • One of those pics is a shot of flowers hanging out of Morrissey's back pocket ain't it? It's nice, but I'd rather have his face or an image of him holding flowers stamping my t-shirt...

Mr Wright..hang your head in shame.
You may have been plucked from relative obscurity in the early eighties, and yes you shot some great pictures of the band... O.K.. make a few bob in life, but don't take the piss out of the fans by asking for that much.
