  • Will there be half naked homo-erotic go go dancers again? Can you control them so the records don't jump. Have they been practicing their routines?

  • Did anyone speak to the Coronation street Star last time? How much does she like the Smiths? Was she there because of a friend? Could she do Moz karoke next time? (she sang on Graham Norton didn't she). Will she bring Rita next time?

  • maybe with all the competition, Sheffield, Leeds, etc. you'll be forced to stop playing non Smiths stuff. we don't want spanish Petula Clark or Pulp, just the Smiths!!!

  • Hola

Don't know if this is a good or bad thing, or if it will actually happen, but someone called Jonathan (Schofield?) from City Life magazine (Manchester fortnightly guide similar to Time Out) has been in touch. He writes rock and roll guides about Manchester so knows his stuff. Anyway he has asked if a Canadian TV company can film briefly on Friday for some programme about Manchester life as a bulid up to the commonwealth games. (there is no Moz night on during the commomwealth games, the next one after May is Friday 12th July) it will only be a hand held camera and only a few minutes would be used on Canadian tv if any. i will try to get details, if they turn up, of the tv show so our Canadian friends can video it for us.

Don't blame me if it doesn't happen, but i think it would put people off rather than attract them, but they won't be doing it all night. It's very dark in Star And Garter, so it might be difficult to make out indidvidual faces anyway.

  • who was the coronation street person there last time - i missed that. a combination of the extremely suspect lager and the sight of half naked men running naked around the room kinda made my memory of that night hide itself away never to be seen again.

cant wait for friday, its gonna be fab!

The film crew wanted footage of a Manchester club to show on a special show about the city, to get people excited about the commnwealth games, for the public broadcasting channel. does anyone know any one who could try and video this for me.
